Limited reductions of funding of less than 5%. Enforcement proceedings that provide a grantee or contractor with the opportunity to challenge LSC's preliminary determination to impose a limited reduction of funding for a grant/contract based on substantial noncompliance with, or violation of, the Legal Services Corporation Act or other applicable laws or regulations or a substantial failure to provide high quality, economical, and effective legal assistance. A limited reduction of funding is defined as a reduction amounting to less than 5% of a recipient's current financial assistance. Limited reductions in funding, when imposed, only affect current year funding. These proceedings apply to most, but not all, of LSC's grants.
