This scheme covers formal proceedings to suspend, terminate, or deny VA funding to program participants or applicants based on a finding of noncompliance with the requirements of the Age Discrimination Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, or Title IX of the Education Amendments, which prohibit recipients of federal financial assistance from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, disability, or age in the operation of their programs. Allegations or findings of noncompliance may result from VA compliance reviews or investigation of complaints received by VA from any person or class of persons.
