If the hearing official--either the Director or Associate Director or Chief of Staff of a VA Medical Center or Outpatient Clinic--determines that an approved residential care facility does not comply with certain enumerated standards, he or she will hold a hearing to determine whether the VA's approval of such facility should be revoked.
