Claims collection - administrative offset
Informal proceedings in which a debtor may seek administrative review of a Notice of Debt Collection relating to a delinquent debt owed to the United States Peace Corps (USADF) or another federal agency prior to such action becoming final. Review proceedings may address the existence or amount of the debt. Claims collection mechanisms under Part 1506 is primarily through administrative offset. (See 22 CFR Part 1506).
