Removal of Consultants from Lists
This adjudication scheme allows for an individual (i.e., inspector or consultant) or non-profit organization to challenge removal from an FHA-approved roster of inspectors, non-profit organizations, or appraisers. Highly informal procedures. Aggrieved party may submit a written appeal to his/her/its proposed removal and request a "conference" with a HUD official, who is designated by the Secretary. That is the extent of the procedures specified by regulation. See 24 CFR 200.172, 200.192, 200.195, and 200.204.
