Brief Description of Case Type: 
Proceedings providing formal public hearing on marketing orders proposed by any organization certified under WRPA, an interested person affected by WRPA, or the Secretary. The WRPA authorizes establishment of orderly procedures for development, financing (through assessments) of coordinated program of promotion, education and related research. Additionally, affected parties may also petition for modification/exemption from existing orders based on allegations that an order "is not in accordance with law." Lastly, section 4910 of the WRPA authorizes the Secretary to impose civil penalties against violators, issue cease and desist order, or impose lesser discipline (such as finding of violation).
