EPAOAIRO0008 - Case Type 1

This case type is a review of the Administrator's decision not to accept a federal equivalent method or federal reference method for sampling and measuring concentrations or air pollutants in ambient air. See 40 CFR 53.1. For this case type "[t]he applicant or any interested person may request a hearing on the Administrator's action. If, after reviewing the request and supporting data, the Administrator finds that the request raises a substantial issue of fact, a hearing will be granted in accordance with § 53.13 with respect to such issue." 40 CFR 53.12.
