Debt collection - salary offset
Informal proceedings in which a debtor-employee may seek administrative review of a Notice of Debt Collection relating to a delinquent debt owed to the United States Peace Corps (Peace Corps) or another federal agency prior to such action becoming final. Review proceedings may address the existence or amount of the debt. Collection mechanisms under Part 309/Subpart C is by salary offset. (See 22 CFR Part 309, Subpart C).
