This Type B scheme involves cases covering applications for confidential treatment of business information and/or protective orders, as well as exemptions from disclosure even under protective orders. Most of these cases deal with hearing-level decisions of the Secretary, which are appealable to the Commission. However, for Anti-dumping/Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) and global safeguard confidentiality requests and disclosure exemption requests, the Secretary's decisions are final (not appealable to the Commission).
